Spent some time there as a kid. Remember catching a reasonable Pollack off the beach on a Toby. Just love the sound of the high tide waves! Glad the bird was Okay. Lucky you had Wingman with you. I see he had a duck.

Hooked a Gannet on a Dexter wedge many years ago, , , managed to land it, covered it in my smock, removed the wedge and it was fine, these things happen 🎣🎣😁

I’m staying down at hope cove in September will look to get a few sessions in the area what rigs do you recommend from your site? Will probably fish slapton and bantham anywhere else you can recommend.
