My parents aren’t overweight and do some resistance training but they are alcoholics and have been my entire life. They are falling apart, but their doctors don’t realize what the cause is.

Unfortunately they also keep getting told to eat less protein and more “whole grains” because of their cholesterol. My parents never ate much meat, dairy or eggs. They eat a few pieces of toast a day and start drinking.

The majority of this problem (if not all) lies within the broken healthcare, food/agricultural system and pharma complex. Consider all the misinformation, lies and overall cover-ups over the last 4-5 decades which have been told to consumers via government, health professionals, media. THIS is why we are in the sad state we're in, and only getting worse.

Another infomercial to sell you another service app. It would be interesting for someone to track the rise of these YouTube spots and the escalation of diabetes in the USA. I think you would find a correlation.
When I go to a medical continuing education course, each speaker has to identify their affiliation with a particular pharmaceutical company before they begin their presentation.
In my opinion the host and guest should also let the audience know that their talk is a vehicle to get you to buy their product s. Stop adding to the confusion out here gentlemen.
