I left a relationship nearly two years ago. It was a relief to finally do so. I know that I will be single forever because I don't have the right skills to make a happy & healthy relationship work. Things like recognizing my needs and communicating them properly, how to argue correctly, and how to stop walking on eggshells around partners because I had to do that with a parent. In order to be worthy, truly worthy, of romantic love, I need to get over all my mental health issues, get over/heal a lot of physical issues, replace all my teeth (which is going to cost as much as a luxury car), somehow make enough money to move out of the property I share with family, and lose 50 to 75 pounds. Since I'm an elder millennial, it's probably too late. I'm trying to date myself and work on just my dreams and fixing my life. However, I still want a romantic partner. Really wish I could release that desire and totally forget about love.
