This was so helpful CaneMajor...Most videos on YouTube skip & leave out all of the technical set up...You explained it in terms that made set up very simple technically...Thank you so much for making my audio recording a success!

Thank you so much Trace! This has been the best straight-to-the-point tutorial I have found for what I needed to do to start recording using Cubase 6. That you so much for saving me hours of trying to figure out why sound wasn't coming out of my monitors, not coming into my computer, etc. All the best to you!

Thank you sir! I would have been using Cubase years ago but it took so much time to figure out I kept using easier, more limited software. I made this to help my fellow artists save time. Happy recording!

Hey! Cubase is defaulting to Stereo in and Stereo out. In that configuration your left mic will play through the left channel and the right through the right. To have both microphones play through both speakers you have to have two mono channels, one for each microphone. In the inputs window right click over "Stereo In" Select Remove "Bus Stereo In", Then add 2 Mono Buses. Cubase will assign them to device ports 1 and 2. Then create two Audio Tracks and assign a Bus to each track. Good luck!

I've been getting frustrated with the setup and saw your video. Thank you for a good presentation. Nice and slow so we could follow along! :) Your diagrams also were helpful in understanding the concept! Thank you! Here's hoping it works for me! :)
