It is really more nits the way to go forward?, who really use those high brightness levels?, in “normal” use most people don’t even use actual tvs full brightness. It could be more interesting to see how functionality of future TVs will develop, for example more flexible and adaptable sizes for space adjustments, lighter screens, big inches but easy to put on different spaces. For example I don’t want to see a tv show on a giant screen, but I want to see a movie on a giant screen. More flexible displays could be a great step forward.
