Lol at all of the comments saying to make the example into a full song.
I mean, I don't deny it, it would be a kickass track and the example you did was a banger.

Music is a conversation, there's a qeustion, and there's an answer (plays a really weird chord) oooo bit of a dodgy qeustion.

I'm sorry I had to cable guys 😂

I noticed this years ago during a drum and bass rave, I was high as hell of mdma and in my brain I was picturing the music having a conversation, and now I can't un-see it whenever I hear this technique in music

I think I had done this without realizing this earlier while writing some solos/harmonies earlier! Your videos rock man, lot of cool ideas and techniques

Thanks for all your shorts. Much appreciate these learning nuggets. Always on point

You need to make that idea into a full track. It's too good to leave on the cutting room floor.

The call and response or question and answer technique is used in everything if your doing music traditionally. Melodies have it, chords have it. You can't leave anything unresolved or your audience won't get the climax they're looking for. Even if it's short spurts like this bass example. Thanks production music live courses for teaching me the importance of arranging!

This is one of those "stop and take a picture" shorts on that last graphic, because so much is being said in a short amount of time.

It's rare for a short to have such a density of information. A rare treat.

Heck, it's rare for a short to even be worth watching.

WOW. Music techniques like that, have been around for over 40 years.

I realized this when listening to his music a long time ago. It was like there was a melody that started with one sound and finished with another. The really do talk to each other and even finish each others’ sentences.

You need to make this a song guy. It's too good to just have as a sample. I'm a house junkie so anything house and I dig it but this is mad!
