Saw them in late 80's in Minneapolis at 1st Ave. Had never heard of them at show time, but after it was over, wow. A couple nights later Prince, Sheila E., and The Time did a show for $5 that ran like 3 1/2 hours non-stop.

Taryn (in the centre) to me at least was the loveliest of three beautiful ladies and was the best dancer also. There have been many Coconut combinations tight up to 2018 but for me, these ladies were the best

Love this song! Me and my sister would do the dance steps the Coconuts we doing although we were sort of grossed out being Americans that the ladies did not shave there underarms 🤣. We didn't have MTV cuz Mom wouldn't pay for it ( back then kiddies you had to pay extra for MTV ). We had NIGHT TRAKS on the channel TBS. God bless Ted Turner for giving us that. I think this was from the movie Against All Odds. Phil Collins sang the title sound track. The singer had a hit in the 70's, I forgot the name of the band but the song was Che Che La Femme. Sort of a disco song. They paid tribute to music producer Tommy Mattola (Mariah Carey's ex) in the first line: "Tommy Mattola, Lives down the road."
