Hi Sir, I want a VBA to protect the excel file, with the use of that VBA I can protect and unprotect the file. As I don't want to go every time in file menu encrypt password and all. As I know the password so as I can run the VBA ans select the excel file it will be unprotected and when I select that file the excel will be protected. This I need as the password is system generated so it's very hard to remember but it is the same password for all the files. Hence I need some VBA which will unprotect the file or protect the selected file using that password. Your help will be really appreciated on this.

VBA password is weak, here is a stronger protection that you might need. It hides vba modules in the GUI and then make the project unviewable.

If we sent the macro to others, they can edit the macro. I checked
