Woodturning - You Won't Believe The Grain In This Pine Log!

Welcome to Ian Mac Woodturning! In this weeks turning video I used a piece of rescued Pine, it was originally being used as a base for a Christmas tree, I think it has been repurposed quite well and the grain was ridiculously strong.

Hey did you have to deal with a bunch of sap on that? It didn't look like you did. You were definitely right the grain is phenomenal! Nice job!

Absolutely gorgeous Ian. The scorching of the outside really highlights that amazing grain.
What are the pads you use for sanding and where did you get them?
