Koh Samet Island in Thailand is so close to Bangkok. If you have the opportunity to visit Thailand and you are in Bangkok come to this beautiful island. You can take an air-conditioning van for four hours for 200 baht . The drive is very comfortable and affordable it will take you all the way to the pier.
There you have two choices to take the fast boat or the slow boat. We took the slow boat for 100 baht the fast boat is 200 baht. We took the slow boat because I heard that the fast boat is really bounce and is really bad for your back.
Forty minutes later you get to the beautiful pier and before getting into the island you have to pay a 200 fee because the island of Koh Samet is considered a National Park.
The island has so many restaurants and hotels that you can just walk in and get without any reservation.
The climate is hot and humid during the day at night is very pleasant. You can go to different little bars for a drink and later on a very beautiful dinner of your choice. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose the food is great in Thailand. I love the soups.
We almost met a very famous YouTuber @GabrielTravelerVideos too bad it was not possible. I understand most YouTubers when they already have a big amount of subscribers they are usually more cautious of who they meet. I hope 🙏 I never get like that.( I want the subscribers) I love meeting different people. All I wanted was a selfie with him.
Maybe next time we get the opportunity again but I know that opportunity only knocks once.
