Short-term exposure to this colour is supposed to reduce stress and relieve anxiety, but long-term exposure causes paranoia and irritability as was later discovered

"We found out that adding salt to food reduces agression, so we fed the inmates pure salt."

prolonged exposure to baker-miller pink actually causes anxiety, paranoia, and increased agression. everything being one color like this also is literally torture for the human brain, similar to sensory deprivation.

people always leave out the fact that the after long-term exposure to this color the inmates began feeling irritable and angry and often fought.

this is color psychology
color theory is the idea that different colors mix and interact differently based on things like their surroundings

I can’t imagine being exposed to one singular color 100% of the time would make anyone happy in the long run.

Funfact, it was later disproven and instead when extended exposure to baker Miller Pink is done, it causes anxiety or/and paranoia

Edit: I phrased my comment incorrectly, the fact that it can relive anger is true, but only for short periods of time, the longer you are exposed to it is when you feel the anxiety and paranoia

Long term effects of being exposed to this color is actually rather horrific. It causes increased irritability, paranoia, and it amplifies the worsening of your mental health if you already have issues. My bedroom was this color. I always hated it and it felt so uncomfortable to be in there, but I wasn't allowed to repaint it. When I fell chronically ill, that room became a prison of horrors for me and all I could think about was escaping that room. I felt like prey that had been caught by a dangerous monster and like I was being toyed with. My body wouldn't let me, but I wanted so desperately just to get as far away from that room as possible. Between that room and the bathroom with the moldy bathtub and dingy orange lighting that was almost green, I spent years between the two. 12 years after being subjected to that room, I left. My mental health has still improved in this past year, but the adverse side effects linger. Some days are better than others, but there are still days where I feel like I'm still trapped in that room and like I'll never leave. I would not subject even my worst enemy to prolonged exposure to that color with no way out. It's incredibly cruel and the effects it will inevitably have on your mind are a fate worse than death.

This backfired, more than 10 minutes of exposure to baker-miller pink actually makes you fucking anxious and crazy!

And in solitary they blast "I'M A BARBIE GIRL IN A BARBIE WORLD" at full volume with random distortions so your brain can't get used to it and drown it out.

Other fun color psychology stuff: the color blue naturally helps people wake up and become alert because its the color of the sky during the daytime. In some regions, blue lights have been installed in intervals in tunnels to help keep long distance truckers awake at the wheel, especially during those times of the year where some regions experience little to no sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
