Kolkata Rape & Murder Case: CBI Questioning Sandip Ghosh, RG KAR Hosp's Ex-Principle | India Today

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee started her protest march against the Kolkata rape-murder case on Friday afternoon. The Trinamool Congress workers accompanying her raised slogans, demanding the death penalty for the accused. The party demanded that the CBI should end the probe in the next 48 hours and arrest all accused.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which took over the probe of Kolkata's trainee doctor's rape and murder case, has arrived at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital as part of its investigation. Earlier today, the CBI team submitted a copy of its FIR before the Calcutta High Court.

Meanwhile, the Kolkata Police have arrested 24 people for vandalism at the hospital during the nationwide 'Reclaim the Night' protest. According to the police, a group of 40 to 50 people, under the garb of demonstrations, broke into the hospital premises late on Wednesday night and vandalised property.

Im jst drained now by hearing all these things... Im raising a qs that why what is happening in india how can they simply did all these things to her? What she did? This is not the first time actually... My heart is beating for her to do something... How can we trust that we will get our justice? Im also a medical student... And im saying we should jot leave this by days monthe we should be till our last breath continuously otherwise they will make ua foolish still they arw doing this... The people who behind this they might be think that this is for jst a day, month but it will not like that... We are students we could do anything all the culprits should remind this...
