Sir as you said factory expenses will only form part of inventory but Transportation cost from factory to godown are included as other cost even though it is indirect expense and recorded under Profit and loss account. Sir why is it

Thank you for clear the concept. But one confusion that when we calculate closing stock that time net realizable value is lower than cost price but we have not any evidence against the Nrv. Then it is acceptable? Please sir explain me . suppose on 31 st March cost price 100/- and nrv 85/- but when I sold that time nrv105/-.Then what will be closing stock valuation?though I have not any evidence of Nrv rs.85/-
