I hv a habit of getting irritated when I hv an appointment & someone is late. Yesterday this happened w/ my esthetician & normally I would show my irritation & disapproval & make the appointment unpleasant. I want to change this pattern. While in the waiting room I noticed those familiar righteous feelings riling up…. So I started repeating to myself “there are no neutral thoughts.” “I’m upset bcuz I see something that isn’t here.” And
I calmed myself down & realized I wasn’t in a hurry so why not enjoy sitting in this pretty room & be in joy while waiting my turn. When called in I showed up gracious & pleasant, instead of irritated and unpleasant… and she and I had a wonderful session filled with joy & laughter. The technology I’ve learned from you since Lesson 1 helped me stay conscious & helped me shape the scenario to a more suitable experience for both of us.❤🙏🏻 Thank you.😊

I seem to have the most resistance to accepting and understanding this lesson. I'm curious to know why. I suspect it's the fear that others are aware of what I'm thinking. I'm fully aware that everything is one thing but this idea that minds are one, which makes sense, is still difficult somehow for this mind to accept. I will repeat this lesson multiple times for sure : )

Today I've felt less frustrated about not being able to do something about things I see around me that I perceive as destructive. Maybe my values are useful even if I'm not in a position to change things. I feel a little less powerless. Thank you😊
