I totally love this gimbal from DJI. It works perfect with my cheap blu g9 pro old phone, surprised the android APK download worked fine so no issues all features work flawless. Only thing I hate...is I didn't get one sooner

Thanks for the update! I'm of the same mind as you... so far, really impressed! I bought the OM 6 a couple of weeks ago after getting my old OM 3 out of the closet and seeing how badly it struggled balancing my iPhone 14 PM. I REALLY like the new form factor. I think there's only roughly 100 grams difference between the two, but the design of the OM 6 is such that using it makes it seem much lighter. Plus it stores in a pocket much easier than the OM 3! More often than not, I'd look at the bulky OM 3 and think ... Do I really want to have this banging around in my pocket all day? Nah, probably not.

I put it through the paces over the weekend on a cruise to The Bahamas and I was super impressed with all the improvements. Not only in the Mimo software, but the mode selector and zoom/focus wheel are both golden. And I didn't think I'd use the selfie stick aspect much, but I found I really like the different angles you can achieve by having it extended and the mount cranked to different positions. I've had plenty of regretful purchases over the years, but the OM 6 definitely isn't one of them.

I was debating on a new mirror less camera, but decided to just try my iPhone.

Can you really use tracking mode while you’re outside DJI Mimo app? You’ve mentioned that gimbal can track you on the Zoom calls. Can you advice on how to make it happen?

Which studio mic solution do you use? Quality of the dji mic is also good, but your studio mic is even better. Is it an overhead mic? Im not sure about to use a phone gimbal because internal stabilization of actual phones is really great. Thx for the video!👍🏻

I just sold mine after 2 weeks. The tilt movement is very limited and just not good for creating cinematic shot. I dont like the magnetic clamp to put on the phone all the time and yes, its better to balance manually. Lits of functions you will never use. Thats just my opinion.

I've had mine for a little over a month and I really enjoy using it, for the reasons you mentioned. It's much easier to get up and ready to shoot over any other gimbal I have ever used. Great video Darrin, and thanks for sharing.

1. Is it right to assume that you cannot go from a low to ground shot to a high off the ground shot? I don't think the tilt wil cope. This seems to be a limitation with all the "smartphone only" gimbals.

2. Does the DJI App support all the video modes that my iPhone does? Can it support 10bit color?

3. Can I use 3rd Party video app like Cinema P3 and still have record button integration and the ability to change gimbal mode? (Often the latter requires the vendors app to be used)

I just picked up the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 for my upcoming Birthday trip with my wife to Vegas. My sons have taken a big interest in this and the DJI Care Refresh protection would be ideal in case my future filmmakers have a mishap.

i have the om3 its been good but the set up is slow but i have got it down pretty quick now but mag clip would be nice . how is it in the wind my om3 is ok but dose get pulled around sometimes the other day at a car show i had to stop and go to hand hold because of the wind but was filming in film mode 4k wide so footage was not the best after that was not very smooth

How strong is the magnet for the phone to the gimbal it’s self? For example I’m looking into recording rollers of cars while driving and don’t want my phone to go flying out the window
