Absolutely perfect timing in my sub box with this one. Was pretty stoked on all the gameplay I've seen but this is a bit more of a hurdle then I was expecting, at least compared to other foreign titles.

these days many Chinese people is access to Lost Ark. and they are using illegal programs. (ex, Macro, illegal tuning client, queue ignore program etc, , ) so game company had cut the VPN use player. so if you are can't play Lost Ark, i hope please understand this situation. from S.Korea player

It's actually ridiculous how much more advanced this game is when compared to everything else on the market. It's the first time I've felt like living in America is regressive towards the standard.

The first step is what's stopping me. Don't like the idea of Korean phone/SS info sharing. Guess I'll just have to wait...hope they decide to bring this to the West! Can't wait! Been super excited for Lost Ark since It's announcement.

If they wanted to it would be out tomorrow in full english. Most Koreans speak english fairly well. The issue is servers. The devs need to find a publisher in NA with established servers. Its a huge red tape mess for a Korean company to purchase land and build a building to hold game servers and have someone maintain those servers. This is why foreign games have different publishers in different regions. Korean developers spend a lot of time finding the right publisher to handle their game. They do not want it miss represented. Hopefully they don't choose poorly. Example: Trion

I live in Japan and my ping is fucking amazing to South korea roughly 20-40 ms. Pretty excited. I remember playing TERA for the first time in america on both (Korean and Japan) servers. It was a whole lot of fun especially when the NA version came out. Flew past everyone in levels day one

This game is like gamling.. there was a reverification wave just the other day that forced non-korean players to be locked out. Also, its recommended to download the game files from a different source and use the stove client for updating only. Download with vpn is slow and tends to disconnect often.

Btw....I tried Mudsuck(Mudfish) and paid for data, and I could not get any connection. Was very disappointed. Was ready to give up. I watched another video about getting the game running, and the creator of the video had posted in the comments in reply to someone saying that they were having problems with Mudfish, that Mudfish was not able to connect to LoskArk due to all the traffic. This person suggested to try Exitlag or NordVPN. Sooo... I decided to try NordVPN as well, and it connected flawlessly! So much easier to use than Mudfish. But the downside is that it's much more expensive if you only want to pay monthly.

I had to add Chrome browser to Exitlag...All of the Smilegate/LA pages were getting blocked for me. Not sure if anyone else had that problem, but once I did that, it worked.
