I have a similar set of gouache and I’ve been wracking my brain on how to keep them moist. Mine also dried up somewhat and it took a long time to get them all moist & creamy again. Thanks for the tip. I’m going to give it try too!!

Try Windsor & Newton Watercolour blending medium next time around. Used to keep watercolours wetter and workable for longer and does the same for gouache! Remixing and keeping your jellys mixed with water can
risk mold growth O.O

I really like this! I've been spraying my paints with water to try and keep them moist but I noticed they'd be uneven and some would be more watery where as others would still dry out. Especially since on one side it doesn't always clamp down all the way.

the reason i dried mine is that it kept getting mould or fungus on it, however i realised its not as creamy any more. wpukd these silicone mold keep it from devloping fungus?

Shouldn't that literally being the brands problem? It's there product they shouldve figured out how to keep the paints from getting dry inside of the palette.

What about vegetal paper ? (That type we use for baking things) foes it work too? Idk where 2 find a silicone mold

I cannot stand my jelly gouache. It feels like children's paint and I cannot get a good consistency. Im actually drying mine out on purpose to see if they work better for me that way. Im not new to gouache, yet I struggle with Himi.

Where did you get this set?? The only sets I've been able to find are the Himi/Miya(which is what I currently have) I've been trying to find other sets to try out when I use up most of the one I have.

I did the same with a sheet of plastic wrap, but I’ve not opened it since so not sure how it’s actually helping lol

I just use plastic wrap from the kitchen, paints have never dried out XD
