Hi Lock Noob, Can't speak for Locksporters, but from a Locksmith's point of view it's an excellent choice of profiles - and thicknesses - with no "fluff." We all have our wrenches, so they are not necessary. All in all a great choice.

So many of these sets have 2 hooks and a bunch of rakes so seeing one with more hooks is nice

Great description of how picks fit in a keyway. You always have very good explanations of how things work.
We all know how high quality multipick is, and someday when I have less debt, I plan on buying a multipick set in 4mm and 5mm, only I would swap the double peak for a city rake, and the snake for a "bent" offset snake (my personal preference) and of course choose my own selection of turning tools.
Also having some skill in leather working, I would make my own custom case.
On the topic of "add ons" I should say, there are a couple common items I like to include in every kit;
A small steel paperclip or 2
A Bobby pin or 2
You never know when you might want to fashion some kinda custom tool, or something you didnt include in your kit, and those 2 items might come in handy as they are easy to bend by hand into the shape you need.

I think you made the perfect choice. I love picking with 0.5mm picks, great for tight keyways.
Awesome review.

Really nice set. I'm just getting the snake technique. Thanks for the revue.

That seems the near perfect add-on set for me that I've been waiting for. Thanks for the video and great selection of picks! I instantly ordered one along with the set of just hooks to have some spares. I use hooks a lot more and need spares for them especially.

Very good balance between picks and rakes. Of course it's Multipick and they never disappoint. Not inexpensive but these are tools that will last.

Perfect add-on or maybe a pretty good starter one! Great demo! You just need some turning tools...

Nice video this set seems to have a good balance of picks and rakes, it must be hard to keep making new sets up to get people to buy, however I think the 5mm picks might be worth getting.

And in case you or anyone else thinks my response to your pinned comment was doing you down. Amazing video, wonderful compact but also comprehensive set of tools chosen with a master’s eye and made with an atificer’s hand.

I think we should buy them as three separate sets. A complete hook set, a complete rake set, and a complete tension tool set. Or possibly even the option to pick 20 or so random picks and put them together with a case of our choice as somewhat of a custom pick set for the discounted price of a set instead of buying them all separate for full price!

the multilockpick case is shitty because i loseing the picks with it, they slip out of the side..
