Literally found a full art step and compleat foil on release. Saw it was around $50 and was happy. Now it’s about $140…. Still happy.

It also see play in pioneer, in fires of invention deck. You can sacrifice a leyline binding to enigmatic incarnation to play atraxa for free from your deck.

The fact that people didn’t realize the power of the card during previews is actually nuts. It’s the best control finisher we’ve had printed since Chromium, and even that didn’t stabilize your life total or refill your hand on ETB. Plus as mentioned you can cheese it out with reanimation and Polymorph effects, it’s insane how game altering this is once it lands.

I'm also glad I opened an alternate art one in my prerelease (though it is terrible in sealed lol). There's also another thing to consider: it grabs Battles, the new cardtype. If Battles are insane, It'll get EVEN MORE powerful and, probably, MORE expansive...

Sold mine for $12 towards a wooded foothills a week or so ago. Ahh well, pulled her and Sheoldred the Apocalypse step and compleat out of the same set booster. Still got Sheoldred, still happy lol
