Teddy's talk focuses on parenting specifically what type of parenting is necessary for the best development of your child and the best. Despite his obvious lack of parenting skills, as he is a student, he will be rendering the experience of an adolescent, nearing the end of his development. This understanding of what it's like to be an adolescent currently feeds into this idea of what an adolescent needs through development and even what type of parenting they may need as they continue to grow up.
