Ken thanks for doing this on Frank. One of my favorite singers of all time! I need to get swing easy and some others on your list. Two of my all time favorites is wee small hours (beautiful analogue sound on green label mono with one center microphone!) His goodbye album to ava...and sinatra and strings on reprise with a gorgeous rendetion of stardust with an often forgotten intro..Once in a lifetime!!! Thanks again ken!...that bluble comment LOL!!

Thx for the video Ken
My pappy was a big Frank and Dino fan. Funny. He was in his early nineties when he told me to take the CD’s.
Here I am ten years later grabbing the vinyl.
Keep ‘em coming 👌🏼

I've seen the video of Sinatra & Jobim that you mentioned and what really amazes me is that Sinatra smokes a cigarette DURING the song! And he still sounds superb.

My favorite live album is Sinatra At The Sands With Count Basie & The Orchestra. This is just pure entertainment. His interaction with the audience and his monologue is priceless. "How did all these people get in my room!"

“You can take a shower between the quarter notes.” Man, I gotta use that! Brilliant!

Great video! You absolutely called it as it is! ....Frank was pure GENIUS!! Great album choice too, spot on! (maybe would've liked to see 'Songs for Swingin Lovers' included?? ...in my opinion, probably the greatest swing record of all time!). 👍🙂

Great retrospective of Sinatra lps. I have been collecting a lot of his 50s 60s releases and have focused on many of the mono pressings which i have come to find more satisfying.

sept of my years getts better as it ages .sinatra seems in recent years to be pushed farther back in pop culture yet his songs his delivery still carry weight when you listen, and his private life seems to at times overshadow his music, anyway nice video be nice if you put a spotlight on some of his lesser known recordings after he left columbia. thanks for this and stay safe.

Sinatra's output on Capitol is unmatched by a male singer IMHO. The timing and phrasing is something else Love his work with Gordon Jenkins. When No One Cares is one of the most lonely/bluesy LP's ever made.

On the “Strangers In The Night” album, Irv Cottler plays drums on all but the opening cut. Hal Blaine plays drums on the title track.

Enjoyed this one Ken! I have always loved Sinatra and my favorite would be 'A Swingin' Affair!' I have always loved the song "I Won't Dance."

Just picked up three mono copies of his Capitol works; This is Sinatra, Tell her you love her and Where are You?

The Chairman of the Board had an amazing musical sense; just look at the artists who were on the Reprise label. I understand he was an avid vinyl collector.
