BEEF AND POTATOES WITH CRUNCHY BREADCRUMBS AND CHEESE TOPPING

Beef and potatoes topped with breadcrumbs and cheese.
INGREDIENTS:
Potatoes, Ground Beef, Onion, Garlic, Butter, Flour, Beef Broth, Worcestershire Sauce, Ketchup, Cheese, Salt, Pepper.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 F. Cut potatoes to desired size. Coat potatoes with 2 tablespoons of oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, bake until tender.
While potatoes are baking, brown 1 pound ground beef in a skillet. Add 1/2 medium onion (diced). Add 2-3 cloves garlic (minced). Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.
Add 4 tablespoons of butter and 1/3 cup flour. Cook for 2-3 more minutes and then add in 2 cups of beef broth or stock. Next add 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce,1/4 cup ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
Bring to a boil and turn off heat. Pour beef mixture into casserole dish.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Top beef mixture with potatoes.
BREADCRUMB AND CHEESE TOPPING: 1 cup breadcrumbs and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (or any cheese you have on hand), and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Combine and spoon over beef and potatoes.
Bake until cheese is melted and topping is golden brown.
