The products I purchased from Temu are fantastic and great value for money. We have very limited selections of jewellery items available in South Africa, so this is a favourable outlet to purchase items seen used by YouTubers.

I don't know where they source from but not having US$ to purchase from Amazon is an insurmountable problem for me.

TEMU rocks for jewellery components, beads, tools, and polymer clay cutters. I have just ordered beading thread at a cost almost half of the price I would normally pay.

Detractors can say what they like, jewellery making is a serious hobby turned business for me and I want to offer something locally made with comparable components. Shop Temu or don't - nobody is being forced to buy from their platform- they have the same items as Amazon at a much better price point. Haven't been disappointed yet and I have made a few purchases.

Yooperlite isn't the only one that has UV reaction. Lapis lazuli is another one. Ruby in ziosite is another one. The coolest one imo is hackmanite it actually changes colors under uv

I think a black background against the glow beads might have worked better, hard to tell with a light background how much is reflected light.

Much as Id love to support my local bead store and went there first....20++ a strand just isnt doable for me right now. Tried Ebay and Etsy but theres SO MUCH crap, I cant trust what I see.
Temu, at least, Im not wasting as much precious cash...and what Ive gotten before wasnt horrible. So order 2 is enroute, and with any luck I will do well enough this fall to go back to better quality local suppliers.
