Calculus and Kinematics

CORRECTION: Around 1:50 I incorrectly referred to the slope of the secant line as "average velocity." I should have said "average acceleration."

The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus is applied to the relations between kinematic variables (position, velocity, acceleration). The constant-acceleration kinematic formula for position is re-derived using calculus, followed by an example calculation for non-constant acceleration.
