Have you even wondered if Facebook does you more harm than good? We asked the Faculty of Health Science's Dr Andrew Campbell, Chair of the Cyberpsychology Research Group to find out.
The Cyberpsychology Research Group (CRG) at The University of Sydney is Australia’s first formal research team that investigates the impact of consumer technology (e.g. smartphones, video games, social networking, wearable technology, VR and AI, etc.) on human behaviour.
We are dedicated to Graduate and Post-Doctoral training in the field of Cyberpsychology & e-Health, with our specific research looking at individual attitudes, cognition and behavioural outcomes arising from the use of personal and organisational digital technology.
We also work with industry partners to establish an evidence-base for digital solutions that aim to positively impact health outcomes.
