Demi has QUALITY vocals. Only a rare few can perform a cover of an Adele song & be able to accomplish that without struggling to achieve the pitch & tone needed.

The live performance you saw on youtube of Adele, is just Adele having a bad day. I saw other live performances of her, and you could literally hear no difference between that and the original. See...Demi CAN SING! Too bad all she does is basic pop songs. If she did deep, vocal-range-cutting songs like Adele she wouldn't be so underrated. But, like most of all the current singers, she does the basic stuff for the ratings and charts.
