This reminds me of a story Peter Cushing once told about the filming on Star Wars:
he had very big feet, and the riding boots that came with his costume were a size too small and notoriously uncomfortable.
So, in every scene were his legs weren't visible, he was allowed to wear comfy house slippers on set. 😁
In a few scenes were he was walking they had to add his footsteps in post production.
