Living out there I would invest in a car frig that runs off 12 Volt power. Skip the ice, it's 2024 now! Make a sandwich or two
at home and put in some fruit, water or soda and you're good to go all day! Note it WILL shut off when it hits a certain temperature. 16 quart frig costs about $120 but you can get them cheaper I'm sure.
