To slow down the video, touch the screen, top right ( three little dots ) . You can then adjust the play-back speed. It's very useful for following your fast teaching !. 😊

Actually, I thought this was a very good focus on the value of variation. You were demonstrating the importance of sub-phrasing, ...using small chunks of phrase. It's a good lesson and a strong tool to help break the habit of falling back to a general scale pattern to fill space within a bar or couple of bars.
