NCAA 14 Defensive Tips: The Contain Blitz

Ok guys in today's ncaa 14 defensive tip we will be covering the contain blitz. Now the contain blitz is something I started working on towards the end of madden nfl 13, and my idea was that I could place to outside players on contains and what I was trying to get was one of the contains to occupy the outside tackle and the other contain to rush the quarterback. Now in madden nfl 13 I had flashes of greatness and was able to sometimes come in, but mostly was picked up. However I continued working on it off and on and yesterday while labbing the dollar 3-2-6 I found that this concept actually has potential. Now I tinkered and messed with it and finally figured out a 100 percent way to make this blitz come in every time, not get picked up by slide protection, and also a way to get 2 way pressure only sending 4 players at the quarterback. Now obviously this is not a heavy pressure blitz, but if you want to use this as a coverage defense or bend but don't break style the pressure gets there in about 2.5 seconds and you have 8 players in coverage for the one way and 7 for the 2 way so you'll be able to play great coverage d with this. This is nice but you gotta wise because it looks vulnerable to the sidelines or guys who pass a lot will create 6 on 6 at the line of scrimmage plus the smoke screen will be an effective escape route underneath. This is boss tho, the contains will solve the triple option offense .
