I am an atheist, and I do not believe in an afterlife. However, I will say that if I could experience an afterlife, I would want to travel for millions of years (up to a billion times the speed of light) throughout the universe like in this video. I would travel inside a lot of these galaxies and explore them to find civilizations.

It's not even a question. There is without doubt other life out there, simple and complex. I mean.. 400 billion stars typical to a galaxy, roughly 10% being planetary systems... 20-40 billion solar systems. In just ONE galaxy. Out of an unfathomable amount. It would be illogical to think we are alone.

Music yes, it made it much better. But why shorten it?

Is that not the biggest frustration of being human? It always slightly angers me when I think as I look up at the sky, that I will never get to see the AMAZING things that are out there in this lifetime. Maybe we will get lucky, and find that some form of our consciousness survives death and is being streamed through the higgs field in a higher dimension.

Yeah it would be mentally insane and selfish to think we have this world just for us. However, hopefully the first life we do find is friendly and doesnt want to kill us, or we want to kill them, whichever. =P
