For me Look What You Made Me Do is the worst, because when I first heard it my first thought was "WTF? Why, Taylor?" And I wasn't too excited for the album, but then I heard Ready for It and I fell in love. It is also my favourite. LWYMMD is growing on me and I love singing along to it but with it I didn't want to listen to it all the time after release. But with Ready for It I annoyed my bf with always listening to it and singing along to it.

The only thing I'm sure of in this ranking is no 1 and 2. Nothing can beat dancing with our hands tied for me. Just like Style & Out of the woods & This love in the 1989 album. :)

The more I listen to the more my favorites keep changing. Or maybe it just depends on my mood. There is a song for every mood. This is why it is a GREAT album!

1. Dancing with our Hands tied (Melodic, beautiful and heartbreaking lyrics, nice story telling, memorable, nearly flawless)
2. End Game (fun r'n'b pop song, melodic production, enjoyed the collaboration a lot - Futures rap wasn't the best though)
3. So it goes (after listening to it more often its actually quite catchy, good lyrics, subtle but sexy)
4. I did something bad (more fun than "Ready for it", nice dark tone, clever lyrics)
5. Delicate (melodic production, reminds me of Imogen Heap, beautiful lyrics)
6. New years day (beautiful lyrics, the simplicity of the piano, feels personal)
7. Dress (liked the chorous, actually better than "I don't wanna live forever", more mature tone, 80s vibe)
8. Don't blame me (reminds me of Hoziers "Take me to Church", creative production, haunting)
9. ..Ready for it? (Very commercial, seems like something you've heard before, playful lyrics though)
10. LWYMMD (worst chorous, clever lyrics, nice dark tone, not something for everyone)
11. TIWWCHNT (interesting instrumentals, creative lyrics, sounds a bit broadway-esque)
12. Call it what you want (very forgetable, seems like a deleted song from 1989, I actually needed some minutes to remember it again)
13. Gorgeous (repetitive lyrics, tries to be playful sounds immature, solid production)
14. Getaway car (very "bubblegum poppy", seems to commercial like an advertisement for her relationship with Hiddelston)
15. King of my heart (don't like the overall production, off putting lyrics, you can't really hear her voice through all the sounds, sounds like a bad remix)

Overall I didn't like the dark and robotic sound of the album, but I do LOVE the Top 5 songs in my list. As for the rest... Well I'll admit Taylor did a good job because the songs are all super catchy, but they were too dark/edgy for me. Not the kind of song I listen to. I also (naturally being a T.S. fan) really take into consideration the lyrics. Now, if we're not considering lyrics and just production/catchiness, I'd say

From Best to Worst:
1) So it Goes... - this song definitely grew on me and the first time I listened to the album I ranked it around the middle. But after every listen it kept crawling up my list until it reached the top. The chorus is perfect, with its huge bass and Taylor's iconic vocals. What isn't there to like?

2) Dancing With Our Hands Tied- Not only is the production absolutely flawless, the lyrics are brilliant. The verses especially are great, the production is so simple but effective.

3) Dress- Don't get the hate for this song. The chorus is so catchy and her breathy vocals are angelic. The line "Only bought this dress so you could take it off" is genius.

4) Call it What you Want- Another grower. Didn't like this song the first time I listened to it, but after the next few listens I really started to enjoy it. The production paired with the lyrics makes it a flawless song.

5) ...Ready for It- Taylor's rapping is great, as are the lyrics. Love the way the ending of one line in the verses, is the start to the next line.

6) Delicate- only liked this song recently actually. It's clear this is a very personal track on the album, and that makes me love it more.

7) I Did Something Bad- that CHORUS. nuff said

8) Gorgeous- great production, lyrics and vocals, with a catchy chorus= a strong track. Pretty sure everyone can relate to it a bit too. :)

9) End Game- Another song with some great rapping from Taylor. The verses from Ed and Future really compliment the song, making it a really great track.

10) Don't Blame Me - good production and melodies. Another solid track.

11) King of My Heart - The harmonies in the chorus are everything.

12) This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things- Good verses and a decent chorus.

13) Getaway Car- Good song, and is a little flashback to her earlier pop- sound from 1989.

14) Look What You Made Me Do- It's iconic, and the lyrics are good, but it didn't age well in my opinion.

15) New Year's Day- Never really got into it that much :(



Ok so doing this was so hard, because I almost love all the songs on the album, it was like making a list of the best to the great.
