This is how I explain my personal finances to my friends, wow! Each account/credit card/e-wallet has its own purpose. I can't believe we even use the same planner for the journal. It is therapeutic when doodling things down, right? Before I had a tickler notebook to list down all of my expenses for the day. Now, I use excel to keep things more organized and for easier computation. I still keep the journal for an overview of everything. And having a net worth spreadsheet is pretty amazing.
