These are all wonderful pieces, you are one lucky man SC! 😁

5:12 the more vibrant aluminum bezel colors make the watch look more "alive" and charming, in a similar way to how a vintage roadster is more alive and charming than a modern car, even if technologically outclassed.

I own every steal ceramic GMT except the BBB, but it’s the 16710 that gives me the most joy. I have three bezel variations to play with including a faded bezel I acquired from a trusted online auction in Kuwait (I’m based in neighbouring Bahrain). About a week ago I also collected the jubilee bezel from my local AD. A costly investment but at least it’s not a crappy old bracelet.
Keep up the great work, buddy.

Has the 2006 GMT the easy link clasp? Lovely watches.

Damn you Rolex….ugh. I feel the exact same. Love the charm of the older models and love the build quality of the new. Wonderful collection.

Are all pre ceramic hollow bracelets? Been thinking about going pre ceramic, think i prefer full brushed bracelets for regular wear

For pepsi, 5 digit all the way. Otherwise... all the new stuff I feel the trade offs are better towards the ceramics. Especially if you talk about modern with the 31xx movements... which may be the best watches for all time as I'm not convinced these 32xx movements are superior nor is the styling.

The white gold Pepsi looks incredible.

For me it is difficult to beat the charm of 5-digit (or older) Rolex. Newer models can feel too big and too blingy but the build quality is undeniably better. The solution? For certain favourite models own both if your finances allow. Think you have it right.

My 16710 is so much more wearable than the modern GMT 2. Although if I could easily get a new one at retail, I probably would

Great video. I’ve tried to buy a couple of vintage pieces in the last 12 months it’s an absolute mine field. I like every tiny detail to be perfect and correct thats so hard to do. How do you know 100 percent that everything is correct. Difficult. Their are some pieces you can’t let go of keep hold of your pre ceramic pieces I’ve let so many go in the past 🤦‍♂️

I'm struggling with the same question and feel I just have to live with then and decided but I feel if Tudor releases a titanium GMT you'll have a solid but light watch with vintage proportions

I guess I'll always be partial to the 5-digit 16710 because it's my first vintage watch and first Pepsi. But with that said I also want a modern Pepsi and now currently on the "waiting list" for one.

I’ve wanted a GMT for a long time now but could never justify the price and difficulty of getting a modern one. More and more I’m thinking that a more recent 5 digit coke bezel is right for me, I’m just worried about the provenance at that point, vintage and Neo vintage is a whole different world.

Not related to this vide as such but get my Explorer 124270 after watching your videos next week. Cant wait!

For this video, the 5 digit GMT just hits different. Better proportions for my small wrist, better colour to the aluminium dial and prefer the look generally, .

The fundamental difference between modern Rolex Professionals and their equivalent vintage items is that the vintage items were state of the art professional horology, whereas modern Rolex Professionals are, art.

Good choices. I have the 16610 both in black and as Kermit. The gold Pepsi I have with meteorite dial. Enjoy them all. Shutting the door on my 964 will beat any modern car and with my black dial Zenith Daytona on my wrist it can’t get any better!

5 digit Rolex are much better looking than the shiny ceramics.
The big maxi cases+ ceramics are like those t shirts with huge logo's 😂.
The 5 digits especially when ghosting exude class and sophistication...not trying hard.
