My main concern is how to survive all of these
disasters and financial crises, especially now lot
of folks have lost their homes.l can recall when 1
was homeless and faced with many things in life
until $87, 000 began rolling in every 2 weeks ang
my Life went from a homeless nobody to a
different person with good things to offer and not
depending on the government!!.!!

There is no problem people living in these places, just not in those houses. Adaptation is going to be expensive, which everyone was warned about.

Most of Florida should have been kept as national park, especially the barrier islands and coastlines. It's a lot sadder for the dead reefs and seagrass beds and manatees that starved to death.

Hmm, I suppose the sea not only pushed sand inland, but also marine life....And I imagine the stench of so many dead fishes should be unbearable! 😮

Why do they want to rebuild here? The same thing is just going to happen again - or worse. Why not build elsewhere? We had a big flood in Colorado back in 2013 and FEMA paid people for their land and helped them get their mortgages cancelled. People were able to move on to a safer place. The people in Florida can barely afford homeowners insurance anymore, let alone flood insurance. What good does it do them - or everyone else in the country who needs homeowners insurance - to so stress the insurance market that they won't be able to afford any and the rest of us will have ours go up to help pay for their losses. To rebuild here is not "resilience" - it is lunacy. It should be made illegal, and it should be illegal to build within a certain distance from the ocean.

Why are people sniffing for these people who have money and choose to throw it into the sea?Let them stop begging the government to bail them out and pull yourselves up by your own bootstraps and get to work with cleaning that mess up!

Can the sand be collected and utilized in other areas? Maybe for stucco or in playgrounds ?

What? CBS didn’t lose its broadcasting license yet? This car has been completely consumed by the sand. 1:09 but I still see it. It is not completely consumed by the sand. Why do people speak like this? It takes credibility away from you Mr. Brawny.

“This car is completely consumed by sand.” Shows a car 1/5th consumed. I don’t think completely means what you think it means.
