The degree symbol (°) typically indicates temperature measurement, the magnitude of angles in geometry, and diminished chords in music. However, standard keyboards don’t have a button for this useful symbol.
Open Microsoft Excel or the Excel Document that you need.
Select the cell that you need. Go to Insert tab at the top tools bar. Click on Symbol at the right side of the bar. A new window will open.
Set Subset to Superscripts and Subscripts. Look for the degree symbol. Click on it and click on Insert. Click on Close once you’re done.
