There is also the blue one from destroy all aliens which was not a living one I don’t think and instead was like an exo skeleton Metamorph that someone could put on and transform their body into weapons like guns. It was used by azmuths father to hunt down ben in the movie

I think the reason why Ben’s upgrade is green is the fact that the green ones are already the peak of their species in his dimension since asmuth made the galvanic mechamorphs meaning that he would have the DNA from the species he had created to be powerful

I always thought it was that the Galvanics species have different races, and Ben's Galvanic in the Omnitrix just happens to be green.

Its funny how the omnitrix was designed to utilize the apex of the species during a transformation. Sometimes it seems like the alien forms are not always their apex forms. I wonder why that detail was more of a standout. We know about the apex forms due to the creation of the omnitrix directly stating it as such.
