French court convicts Equatorial Guinea's vice president

Teodorin Obiang, vice president of Equatorial Guinea, has been found guilty of embezzling money to buy property and luxury cars. He is also the son of the country's president. He was sentenced in absentia by a French court.

Equitorial guinea is a rich country, the only sub Saharan Africa nation who became a developed nation in 2005-2010 with a GDP per Capita of $22, 000 but sadly their economy has gone down with a current per Capita income of $11, 000
