Electric current is the flow of charge per second. Electron flow is when the negatively charged electrons flow from negative terminal of the cell to the positive terminal. The conventional current is when the current flows from positive terminal of the cell to the negative terminal. The electron flow is the type of current that happens in real life. And although conventional current is scientifically wrong, it is the current we work with when using circuit diagrams.
