On a more serious note it's amazing to me how people have to constantly be reminded that expensive components does not a good sound make, at least not exclusively. Don't get me wrong there is some things that high-end gear can do sonically that cheaper gear cannot do or not do as well But let me put it this way, I've heard $100, 000 Hi-Fi systems and I've heard systems that cost 1% as much that give me just as much joy and pleasure.
