I really wish the Air came in a 15 inch version. I would love that extra screen space.

Thank you very much! You removed my pain. I want to learn design (go to school), and it seems ridiculous to go for something too expensive until you start making money of it. This is a very specific, precise piece of advice, very to the point. Thank you 😊

Appreciate the honest reviews as always! Bought the M1 MacBook Air because of your videos and it’s been great! May I ask if you keep your MacBook plugged in all the time? Also would be cool if you could share your setup and recommended any accessories if any in future videos :)

Thank you for keeping it short and to the point! I’m just one of those people who can’t stand long reviews! Will definitely go with your advice.

I'm a video/photo editor, designer/animator(not full time) and my input is this:
Prioritize memory first. You can always get an external NVME SSD for cheaper. It's always better to put your finished work on a dedicated Drive.
And because it's a SoC, in case something bad happen and you can just get another computer without losing anything.

Use the main drive for your program and active files.

Thank you for this review. I'm a designer too so this was really helpful. I think I'm sold and will probably get this laptop next month. Btw do you think it's worth it to get the Applecare protection plan for it too? By the way you have nice contents! You earned a new subscriber.

Thank you for this! I am really hesitating if I will be switching to Mac since I'm a Windows user ever since and considering the price.

Great video! what are your thoughts (pros/cons) of getting the m1 macbook pro 13inch instead of the air? I am due to replace my 2013 macbook pro. Currently waiting for the upcoming 14inch, mainly for the screen size, but I feel that even when they come out I will get one of the current m1, because of the price. Again, great videos!

With Figma, you need 0 storage for your design files. If you're on a budget, the 256gb will do you just fine. You can always get a 500gb USB for $50. Also storing your files on the cloud is also an option.

One note: this video was made before the 14 inches MBP was announced. If you are going to stretch to 16gb Ram and 1tb of SSD, you will get a better deal by getting the MBP 14'

Hi Alex, thanks for your review it's really clear and helpful!
I work as a mid-level graphic designer and I currently work on iMac at home. I actually need a lightweight and powerful laptop to create and edit projects on the go, and I was thinking to buy a 16gb / 512ssd MacBook air. I would use Adobe Ps, Illustrator, and web research at the same time. Do you think this Macbook Air is a good choice instead of MacBook pro? Did you ever have heat issues due to the fanless system? Thank you for your help :)

Hey! Thank you for this video :3 I was wondering, is 16 gb and 512 a good combination? I see that you only mentioned 16gb and 1tb ssd. Mostly I am using Ai, Ps, Pe and Ae.

Thanks for the video! One question, I'm a graphic designer and I was thinking of buying the 256gb version and use it with my 2tb external hard disk.. will it be possible to work that way or do you still recommend to go for the 512gb version?
