My dad had one of these. He was a carpenter. He was never one to complain about pain or visit the doctor. This was one of the few times in decades he ever went to the doctor as he said it was so painful.

I got one. Got him back in middle school and still got him now after uni. I named him Bobby, and I don't have any plans of removing him any time soon because he doesn't bother me in any way

They go away, takes a long time like a year but it will eventually burst in its own. Left a dent in my hand.

That’s just great lol I think I finally know what this is a Bible cyst? I’m a Christian like kind of ironic was just telling my grandma I haven’t been to the hospital for anything weird and random in years

I just had a ganglion cyst removed in the same area for the second time three days ago. I’m really hoping that it doesn’t come back.

I have one on my finger joint. The dermatologist told me if it’s not bothering me to move my finger then I can just leave it alone unless for cosmetic reasons then I can have a surgeon remove it. He drained it but it came back.

I had one as a teen that kept coming and going, it caused a bit of discomfort and pain so I would bind my wrist and use lotions that caused heat (English is not my first language, idk if it has a specific name), and eventually it went away on its own and never came back

My wife had one when I met her 15 years ago. Maybe a year after we got together, I was helping her up off the sofa, and we both felt a pop in her wrist, and within 24 hours, the cyst was gone and it hasn't come back.

My mom got one of these in college. Her friend hit it with a big textbook, and it immediately went away and never came back.

I’m watching this after I’ve popped mine 3 times 🙃🙃🤣over the course of 11 years, each time I pop them they go away for about 4-5 years 😅😅

I had one of these twenty years ago. Was told to wack it against a metal post and that took care of it.
Unfortunately I'm apparently prone to these cause now I have a bigger cyst in back of me neck

I've had them removed from both my wrists. They used to come back, but I haven't had to deal with them in a couple of decades. I believe the sac was removed on my left wrist. I still have an indent and the smallest scar.

I had one on my foot. It was large. One day I felt a burning sensation in my foot and a couple days later I noticed it was gone! It never came back. 😊

I had it on my wrist a few years back not sure if it was the same but it was a small bump on the top of my right hand near the wrist,
Did a quick surf on net and learned that bump is made of oil slash jell fluid so in my head i thought "oil melts on heat right"
from then on everyday i soak my right hand on warm (not hot) water for at least 3 to 5 mins,
dried it completely and
then placed my right hand flat on my chest and using the palm of my left hand to massage it like trying to flatten the bump but not putting to much pressure that it hurts.
Did this for weeks and to my relief it had started to shrink till it was gone.
till this day as soon as i feel a small bump on my hand i would do the same process all over again.
i can't say that this is a sure way to get rid of it but it did help me alot hopefully might help others too. 😊
