Have a fan blowing on you while you're playing vr, It really helps with the motion sickness & helps you know where you are in relation to your room so you don't knock over anything

2:31 Definitely learn it if you want to do a project like that! Back in 2018 I decided to make a small map for Gmod and learned to use Hammer 1. The entire process is a blur in my memory, kind of like a fever dream. But it was a lot of fun making the map and learning the archaic software. I can only imagine how much better Hammer 2 is.

Recreating rooms in vr is cool, but it just isn't there yet. Everything will still look plastic-like and a tiny offset will throw you off
