My 8th grade son did Denison’s pre-algebra this year and it had been AMAZING!! My son has thrived, so we are sticking with Denison for next year also😊

My old oldest has used algebra 1 geometry and now in algebra 2. She loves it and we have been doing it for 2 school years now. We came from shormann math. She would get good scores in math but never liked it. With Dennison she said she loves math and can understand it. I'm thinking of trying pre algebra with my 8th grader this year

We'll be using Denison Pre-algebra next year, as well! My daughter is good at math but HATES it. So, I'm hopeful that this will help her attitude about math in general!

I'm so glad you talked about Denison Algebra. We are currently doing Apologia, and I just found out 6th grade is the last year for it so been looking into what to do after this year. I'm seriously thinking about Denison so may be asking you about it at the end of this year to make sure she still likes it and to see how she did with it 😅

Are you aware that for Apologia Math, all the pages you need to tear out are available to print as a PDF. There's a password in the front of the book to access these!

Did you say apologia is conceptual and mastery? We have been doing TGTB math, but I want to pause it and do something more conceptual. I worry about mastery programs though because do the kids forget the other stuff?! Why did you switch from Math with Confidence? We just finished our math school year so I'm debating between MWC, Abeka (still procedural, I know), Singapore, maybe BJU, maybe Right Start, maybe Math Mammoth, maybe dimensions.. its so overwhelming!!

I looked for apologia for my upcoming 1st grader, but I do usually prefer getting a pdf. I don’t think they have that option right?
