Fun fact: The reason scammers will intentionally mess up spelling is because it gets around spam filters. Often emails will use something like a Bayes algorithm and depending on words used, like "money", "transfer" and similar words, it will filter those emails as spam but the machine doesn't understand that "tranzfur" is just a weird spelling of "transfer" so it gets around the algorithm. Some emails will have bastardizations of the word built in but obviously you can't cover everything.

Also, the thing that kept coming up as "concentration camp" is actually a kids show called PAW Patrol and I'll be honest, 80% of their own merch looks like off-brand stuff so if they just got the name right they could probably sell this stuff.

The "No-Brand" chips are pretty popular. There's an entire grocery chain in Canada that's in-house brand is "No Name" and uses the same plain yellow packaging. And know what? Their products are usually better than the more heavily advertised name brands.

I've actually watched panda VS aliens. Favorite part was when there was a "planet of the grapes" bill board, so they had an off brand inside of an off brand.

Edit: another thing about the movie was that the main character was a movie star where he'd act in movies as a hero who gets powers from a special amulet. Then they find put the amulet is actually magical so they use its power against the aliens. I don't really remember why the aliens went there but I think it was because they knew about the amulet.

I wonder if the relentless mixing of fandoms in offbrand products is a mix of
1. Getting as much recognisable items/words as possible so the clueless will go "oh! I've seen that in Blorp's room!"/"og! I've heard Blorp mention that quite a few times!"
2. The mix is so obvious it's hard to claim the buyer isn't deliberately buying a bootleg instead of the real thing
3. People who know how weird the mix is will buy it for shits and giggles
