Check out the band Kardi and their newer songs too. Kim Yeji the lead singer and 4 others formed a band during the finale of the show and they kept it together after the competition ended. They now represent Korea by singing the title song for Busan Expo 2030 called City Of Wonder (just released a few months back) and have released a mini album last year plus a full length album just July this year.
Lets go Kardi !!!

I know its late but its sad that this performance didn't win that round just because one of the judge didn't know how to score this performance he didn't give justice to this performance even tho everyone on the show know how amazing this performance was .

Hooray from the UK. That was the unmistakable voice of Kim Yeji. This is the nucleus of the band, "Kardi". Were they renamed later in the competition?

One of things that made this era of music so good was that you had to work at it. You had to use your car, hitch hike, or bum ride to the. Venue. Then stand in line For hours (which usually meant a party) and then hoped there was still tickets. Today you you use cell phone.

The singer, "Kim Yeji", is brilliant and part of th band "KARDI".
Yeji is not only famous for her singing, but for her ability to transform herself to fit a song--her personality, qualities of her voice, her body language, her facial features. For example, check out her performances of "River" and "House" from the same South Korean music competition, "Superband 2"
The Korean name for their traditional instrument being used is called "geom mungo". In English it is referred to as the "Korean Harp", but is more accurately, the "Korean Zither". The number of strings it is has varies from 12 to 25.
