This piano sounds just magical. The tone rings, the tuning sounds wonderfully clean and without warble, and it's balanced so well. I hope whoever bought this piano enjoys it for a long time.

This Baldwin. this particular Baldwin, proves why it was Steinway and Sons biggest competitor in the '60s and '70s! The superior bass, the fabulous middle register and that incredibly sweet upper register proves this piano was the top of the line in 1979! Thank you Robert for posting this video of such a magnificent piano!

A crystal clear tone... A thunderous bass and singing bell like tones in the treble. This one sounds better than some S&S. Excellent video as usual. Alas, I truly wish the Baldwin company (Gibson) was in better shape than currently and building the SD10s here.

It's hard to choose between this and a Mason & Hamlin 9 footer from the same era. The price is shocking for a piano of this quality. Hope it ends up in a good home! Or concert hall.

@ almost $36, 000 - it better be good. I got my son his 1975 SD10 for $7K in great condition. There are deals out there is you are willing to wait and search. Took me 1 year.

Loved the Chopin E-Minor Prelude . . . the sensitivity in this music certain touches the strings of emotion . . . quite lovely -- well done! I can see why it is difficult for many to choose between a Balwin and a Steinway.
