MY SOLO to BUBBLES IN MY BEER - BOB WILLS & HIS TEXAS PLAYBOYS - Guitar Cover

This is the Bob Wills tune "Bubbles In My Beer." The original is Western Swing, although I'm not quite sure what you'd call this. I took a lot of inspiration from the Redd Volkaert version of this song, which is a mix of Western Swing, old Honky Tonk, Jazz, and Country. I wrote my own solo for this, also during the solo I changed the chord progression a little bit and added a 6-2-5-1 turnaround. The idea here for the solo was to use note choices to allow the listener to hear the chord changes I'm playing over during the solo without anyone accompanying me playing any chords. It always sounds better to my ear personally when people do that. I just like it. I'm using a BOSS DR-880 drum machine that I borrowed for percussion, but other than drums everything else is just my guitar and me. I really enjoyed learning this one and as always learned a thing or two at the same time. The vocals here are not really part of the focus. This is basically for guitar nerds.
