Awesome start on the series from my favorite Salesforce teacher. I think the reason they have plurals checkbox is so it knows whether to use an "a" or an "an" when using the name in sentences and/or text such as reports.

Two years later, I think the vowel thing has to do with how to create the object like “ an employee” rather than “a mango “, just my though maybe not that
