If you drop a line straight down through the incline to make a right angle, opposite theta, and say it has the same magnitude as mg, then doesn't sin of theta then equal mg/ma instead of ma/mg? I would have thought that the placement of the ma and mg lines is somewhat arbitrary. Is it because making a triangle inside the incline isn't from the "perspective" of the object? (Btw I know I'm wrong here I'm just curious about what I'm not understanding)
